He is a great communicator, which is really important when you are either selling or buying a home. He does a great job of lining up the items needed for a real estate transaction and acts as the go-between for all parties, including title companies, mortgage brokers, insurance, buyers, and sellers. I believe it is the communication that really sets Kaz apart.
While anyone can search for properties online, Kaz is the one to depend on to get the transaction through to the finish line. We recently sold our home in San Ramon and purchased a new one in Concord and Kaz made both transactions as soon as possible. He helped us with renovating our home, and even used the Coldwell Banker program to fund some of the work and have those costs paid out of the sale. - He's probably has been to almost every open house showing we have been interested in even though he is not required to for us.
- He always tries to be there for his clients night and day.
- No transaction is too small or too big for Kaz in terms of effort. A great example that a property we purchased took MONTHS to close because the sellers had a internal dispute. Kaz was on top of all the paperwork required constantly and made sure as buyer we performed our due diligence.
- I also appreciate that if he does not know the answer, he will find someone ASAP. For instance, after a sale, we had a crack window and he helped us find a vendor within days to replace the pane.
- His checklists and timelines he provides in writing is very helpful to make sure we completed our tasks on the proper listed days of the transaction.
- All the properties he has been involved in with us are in San Francisco, but he is willing to perform transactions all over the Bay Area if we needed since we were looking at other cities to purchase in.
- Our most recent transaction had a 25 days close with a 10 day loan contingency removal (per the sellers preference) and he got the job done and we actually close a couple days early!
- For the sale side, we didn't really have to lift a finger, he handled the staging, the open houses, etc... without much involvement from us. He was very independent.
- He has a great list of vendors/contacts that he can recommend (lenders, windows, garage doors, 1031 exchange, etc...).
